Final results of Armenia’s parliamentary election to be announced on June 14
The final results of Armenia’s parliamentary election, held on June 7, will be announced on June 14, Central Election Commission Chairman Vahagn Hovakimyan said.
Hovakimyan said the commission would continue recounts and adjustment procedures until Friday before reviewing complaints and applications.
According to preliminary results after 100% of ballots were counted, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s Civil Contract party received 49.83% of the vote.
The Strong Armenia party, linked to businessman Samvel Karapetyan, came second with 23.28%.
The Armenia bloc, led by former president Robert Kocharyan, received 9.93%.
