President Aliyev highlights strategic value of Zangezur Corridor

Positioned at the crossroads of the East–West and North–South transit routes, Azerbaijan has become a vital gateway linking Asia and Europe, President Ilham Aliyev stated in an address to the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum. 

The head of state underscored that the Middle Corridor bridges Central Asia with the South Caucasus, Turkey, and Europe via the Caspian Sea. Aliyev added that the emerging Zangezur Corridor—also designated as the TRIPP connectivity route—will further strengthen Azerbaijan’s role as a regional logistics hub and unlock new opportunities for Eurasian trade, investment, and industrial collaboration.
