11 cooperation agreements signed at 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum

A total of 12 bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements were signed between Azerbaijani and foreign entities during the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2026) in Baku, concluding the panel session "Shaping Global Growth, Investment, and the Future of Connectivity." The agreements span renewable energy, construction, industrial manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, banking, and digital technology.

Key pacts include agreements between the Ministry of Economy and the State Agency for Renewable Energy Sources with ROX Group covering urban development and solar-wind power projects, alongside an advanced silicon and silicon carbide production initiative in the Alat Free Economic Zone. Industrial and agritech pacts also finalized the Aghdam Poultry Project (involving the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund, AgroDairy, and AGROFERT), veterinary vaccine production with Turkey's VETAL, and a pharmaceutical facility with Slovakia's Saneca Pharmaceuticals.

Within the financial and IT sectors, the Oman-Azerbaijan Joint Investment Fund signed for a non-voting equity stake in Azer Turk Bank. Further milestone signings featured a Memorandum of Understanding between Azerbaijan's Economy Ministry and Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, an investment promotion partnership between AZPROMO and UkraineInvest, and a trilateral utility cooperation pact involving SOCAR, Esyasoft, and the State Water Resources Agency.
