Middle Corridor Success Relies on Robust Business Climate: AFchamber Head
The development of economic ties along the Middle Corridor relies not solely on expanding transport infrastructure, but fundamentally on transparency, predictability, and competitiveness across the business landscape. Jeyhun Atayev, Executive Director of the Azerbaijani-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AFchamber), delivered these remarks at the EU–Azerbaijan Business Forum in Baku.
Atayev highlighted that while physical infrastructure such as highways, railways, and seaports is essential, it cannot create lasting connectivity without an investment-ready commercial environment. Safeguarding a sound business climate, he noted, demands verified data, objective risk assessment, and decisive policy implementation based on rigorous economic diagnostic tools.
