Azerbaijan Tourism Days in Hungary

(Azernews) - Hungary hosted Azerbaijan Tourism Days on November 21-22, co-organized by the Hungary-Azerbaijan Youth Union (HAYU), Youth Foundation under the Azerbaijani President (YFAP) and the Azerbaijani Embassy in Hungary.

The event was attended by Azerbaijani and Hungarian youth, and official figures of foreign embassies, Hungarian parliament, Azerbaijani Youth Foundation, as well as representatives of Hungarian, Azerbaijani and Central Europe NGOs.

Addressing the event, Chairman of HAYU Ibrahim Safarli greeted the guests and talked about the history and implemented projects of the union. He also stressed the aim of the conference.

Speaking at the event, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Hungary Vilayat Guliyev congratulated HAYU’s staff and underlined the importance of relations between the two countries' youth.

Talking about the recent visit of Azerbaijani President to Hungary, the ambassador said that the signed agreements during this visit are another evidence of close cooperation between the two countries.

Member of Hungarian Parliament and Chairman of Azerbaijan-Hungary interparliamentary friendship group Marton Dondoshi expressed his satisfaction with the developing relations and noted that such kinds of projects give a fresh impetus to cooperation between the two countries.

Addressing the event, Director of strategic planning and international relations sector of YFAP Orkhan Arabov briefed the participants about the projects implemented by the foundation.

In the second part of the event, representatives of Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry, Operating Committee of the European Games, Hungarian Tourism LTD, Balance Law and Tax Firm and Rİxos Hotels of Azerbaijan made speeches.

Informative and interactive presentations interested the guests and briefed them about the visa and migration law as well as the country’s hotels and tourism institutions.

The second day of the event was held in the building of Azerbaijani Embassy in Hungary.

The participants got acquainted with the working principles of the Embassy. Then, the e-visa system, its gist and working principle were presented for the visitors.

HAYU was co-established by Azerbaijani youth who live in Hungary and Hungarian activists in 2012.
