Dudley says Azerbaijan 'major' supplier of energy

BP CEO Robert Dudley has said Azerbaijan is turning into a major strategic supplier of both oil and natural gas to the world.

Dudley was speaking at the Oil&Money conference held in London on October 29.

BP leads almost all of Azerbaijan’s major energy projects, including the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli (ACG) oil deposit, Shah Deniz gas field and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline.

The company and its partners have invested over $50 billion in Azerbaijan’s energy projects in the past 20 years.
