Nar Mobile continues its support to people with hearing impairments

The mobile operator started a project titled “School for people with speaking and hearing impairments” Remaining committed to the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility, Nar Mobile has launched a new project – the School for Persons with Limited Hearing and Speaking Abilities. Thus, special courses for improvement of skills of people with hearing impairments will be organized by the mobile operator from July to September 2014. 25 persons with limited hearing and speaking abilities aged from 15 to 28 years will take part at the courses. In total, there are 4 fields of education – floristics, hairdressing, ICT and decorative works. In the future, the mobile operator will continue helping the graduates of this School to find jobs.In the course of several years, the mobile operator has been implementing the project “Not Hearing Does Not Mean Not Thinking!”, which opens up an opportunity for people with limited hearing and speaking abilities to find jobs, and helps them to get equal possibilities in social lifting. Currently, 15 people with hearing impairments currently work at Nar Mobile. Moreover, the mobile operator has produced special video tutorials on how to use computer for people with hearing impairments.  Lecturing on Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point and other main computer programs, the video courses are important not only to get the people with limited hearing and speaking abilities prepared, but also to open up wider opportunities for their full and comfortable adaptation to the office environment.Using its own experience of recruiting people with hearing and speaking impairments Nar Mobile calls upon other companies to hire such people.Azerbaijan’s fastest growing mobile operator Nar Mobile serves its subscribers since 2007.
