Explosions rock Iranian cities
25.06.2025 10:58

A series of loud explosions were reported overnight in several Iranian cities, including Tehran, Asadabad, Hamedan and Chitgar, according to Iranian opposition media citing local residents. Air defense systems were reportedly activated in Mashhad, Shahriar-Ray, and Kamalshahr.

There has been no official comment from Iranian authorities, though videos circulating online appear to capture the sounds of the blasts.

Meanwhile, Israeli army Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi* said the attacks on Iran are ongoing despite a ceasefire announced by former U.S. President Donald Trump. He said Israel was entering a new phase based on the outcomes of its campaign targeting Iran’s nuclear and missile programs.
