Xi will not allow Russia to make peace in Ukraine

Chinese President Xi Jinping will not allow Russia to conclude peace in Ukraine because he wants to wear down both Moscow and Washington ahead of a possible assault on Taiwan, The Telegraph quoted analyst Rebekah Koffler as saying.

China views the conflict as a proxy war aimed at exhausting both sides before potential fighting over Taiwan, Koffler said.

According to her, Beijing is supplying Russia with dual-use technology for military production, thereby boosting its combat capabilities.
