Turkish hackers target Israeli defence minister Katz

A Turkish hacker group said it managed to contact Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz via video call and then leaked his personal phone number online.

Tensions between Turkey and Israel have escalated sharply amid the Gaza war and recent Israeli strikes on Qatar.

Pro-Ankara hacker groups have previously claimed responsibility for cyberattacks on Israeli institutions, including ministries and banks.
