SOCAR increases payments to Azerbaijan’s state budget in May

Azerbaijan’s state energy company SOCAR paid 171 million manat to the state budget in May. That’s an increase of 28 percent from a year earlier, the company said on its website.

In the first five years of 2014, SOCAR transferred 822.66 million manat to Azerbaijan’s state budget, up 26 percent year-on-year, the company said.

The national energy producer also paid 11.2 million manat to the State Social Protection Fund in May.
