Azerbaijan cuts car imports from Georgia in Jan–Sep

Azerbaijan imported 6,367 passenger cars worth $170.4 million from Georgia in the first nine months of this year, the country’s National Statistics Service said.

The figure was down 3,840 units, or 37.6%, compared with the same period a year earlier.

Overall, Georgia exported 82,527 cars worth $2.1 billion in January–September, with Azerbaijan accounting for 7.72% of the total.
