Azerbaijan plans to offer more debt after selling debut Eurobonds in March, Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said.

The second bond sale is not expected to take place this year, Sharifov said in an interview with the Baku-based Trend news agency.

He said the debt will not be offered in euros, without giving further detail.

Oil and gas-exporting Azerbaijan on March 10 sold its first international bond, $1.25 billion of 10-year securities, at a yield of 5 percent.
