Azerbaijan Parliament to review 12 draft laws at February 10 session

The National Assembly of Azerbaijan will consider 12 draft laws at its February 10, 2026 session, covering a wide range of issues including cybercrime, education, health, taxation, civil and criminal procedure, children’s rights, and transport.

Key proposals on the agenda include:

Ratification of the UN Convention on Cybercrime and measures for electronic evidence exchange in serious crimes;

Amendments to the Education, Patent, Labor, and Tax Codes, as well as the Laws on Banks and Customs Tariffs;

Changes to legislation on public health, oncology care, and children’s rights;

Drafts affecting civil, family, and criminal procedure codes, as well as laws on youth policy, social services, advertising, tobacco use, and protection from harmful information;

Revisions to the Cinematography Law, and laws governing road traffic and automobile infrastructure.

Several proposals are set for first readings, while others are in second or third readings, reflecting ongoing legislative reforms across social, economic, and legal sectors.
