Azerbaijan's defence minister attends the World Defense Show in Riyadh

Senior officials from Azerbaijan’s defence ministry attended the World Defense Show 2026 international defence exhibition in Riyadh, the ministry said.

Products from Azerbaijan’s defence industry were showcased at the stand of Azersilah, a holding company overseen by the country’s defence industry ministry, alongside equipment produced by private firms.

The delegation reviewed modern weapons systems, military equipment, aviation and unmanned platforms, as well as innovations in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity.

During the visit, Defence Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov held talks with Saudi Defence Minister Khalid bin Salman and executives from several defence companies. Discussions focused on areas of mutual interest in military-technical cooperation.
