Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL) may refuse its order for two Boeing-787 Dreamliner aircraft, a source told Azerbaijan's Trend news agency.

AZAL had previously ordered the two planes from Boeing.

It was expected that AZAL will receive the first plane in June or July and the second later in November.

"Currently, the question is whether to get the planes or refuse. This issue will be resolved in a short time," the source said this week.

The source said AZAL was having doubts about procuring the Boeing-787 Dreamliner aircraft due to a number of problems faced by airlines in some countries which were using this aircraft.

At present, AZAL's fleet includes Boeing 757-200, Boeing 767-300, Airbus 319, Airbus A320, Airbus A340-500, Embraer ERJ 170-100LR and Embraer ERJ 190-100.
