U.S. Vice President JD Vance welcomes fourth child

U.S. Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha Vance, have announced the birth of their fourth child.

Vance said on social media that their son, Alec Neel Vance, was born on July 19. He said both mother and baby were healthy and that the couple’s three older children were excited to meet their younger brother.

The baby was born at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland.

JD and Usha Vance have been married since 2014 and have three other children, Ewan, Vivek and Mirabel.
