Azerbaijan recalls ambassador to Turkey
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed a decree recalling Rashad Mammadov from his post as Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkey.
Under a separate presidential decree, Mammadov has been appointed Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Uzbekistan.
Mammadov had served as Azerbaijan’s ambassador to Turkey since July 2021.
