Pezeshkian: Tehran has no issue with regional states, US military bases drive tensions

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Tehran has no disputes with regional countries, identifying the presence of US military bases as the primary catalyst for regional tensions. 

The Iranian president accused the United States of reaping oil profits while deliberately instigating conflicts among neighboring states. Pezeshkian also described regional dissatisfaction over Iran's retaliatory strikes as illogical: "They allowed the enemy to attack us from their territory and kill our innocent citizens. Do they expect us not to respond after that?" 

Furthermore, Pezeshkian confirmed that Iran's Supreme Leader is alive and actively fulfilling his duties within the governance structure. He added that because adversaries are unable to pinpoint the Supreme Leader's precise location, they resort to circulating groundless rumors.
