Azerbaijan police detain 38 crime suspects in one day

Police officers solved 36 crimes registered in Azerbaijan on September 14, as well as 12 previously unsolved crimes, the Interior Ministry’s press service said.

Police detained and handed over to the relevant authorities 151 wanted individuals, including 123 people wanted as debtors.

During the reporting period, police recorded eight drug-related offences and 12 cases involving the detection or seizure of illegally held weapons and ammunition.

A total of 38 people suspected of committing crimes were detained.
