Taxi companies operate with good profit – State Statistics

In 2013, the revenues of companies that provide taxi service for passengers rescued 43.6 million manat. While the direct costs for these services amounted to only 13.9 million manat, which was calculated by the State Committee on Statistics.

According to SSC, taxi companies got the balance sheet profit of 29.7 million manat. At the same time, the State Statistics Committee recognized that in determining the financial performance of companies is not taken as the basis of their actual financial statements and the calculation of the statistical methodology.

According to estimates of SSC, last year revenues of taxi companies rose by 12.7%, and the costs - by 24%.

Largest company taxi service in Baku is LLC Baku Taxi Company, which operates more than 900 cars daily. Also on the market are of MS 189, Grand Taxi, Eurotrans, S & A Ltd, Star, etc. None of the companies discloses financial statements.
