Photographer captures eight hours of take-offs at LAX airport in ONE stunning image - PHOTO

This impressive image shows what eight hours of planes taking off at Los Angeles International airport looks like.Photographer Mike Kelley spent a day shooting 370 photos, capturing nearly all the departures, and a few of the arrivals.He then assembled 75 of the shots into one dramatic image - called Wake Turbulence - with Photoshop, showcasing a wide range of airlines.Plane-spotted Kelley, who based himself at the US airport's south complex, said the the final image includes take-offs from two runways, which accounts for the size differences in the planes. And he admitted to using 'artistic liberty' with the angle of the planes leaving LAX - which saw 66 million passengers pass through it in 2013 - to make a more interesting image.Mike, who uploaded the image to his blog, said: 'I took some artistic liberty with the angles of attack to make a more interesting photograph, but for the most part this is all very similar to how it would appear if you were to go and watch yourself.'There are two runways and both were being used for take-offs, so that explains the size differences and depth differences between the planes.'If you look to the right of the tower, I also tried to get some of the heavies arriving.
