SOCAR opens its first filling station in Bucharest

Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR opened its first gasoline filling station in Bucharest, the Romanian capital, on February 14, the company said.

"The fact that we arrived in the capital is a clear signal that SOCAR is already a key company in this sector, which can change the national configuration of key players in this market," SOCAR Romania CEO Hamza Karimov said.

The station with a special design has all facilities and services available throughout the SOCAR network.

On February 13, SOCAR Romania commissioned four filling stations in the Romanian cities of Buzau, Focsani, Bacau and Adjud.
