Azeri Central Bank reserves expand 19% through January

Azerbaijan's Central Bank reserves grew almost 19 percent in January year-on-year, the bank said on its website.

Reserves rose to $14.2 billion from $12 billion a year earlier, it said.

Azerbaijan's total foreign exchange reserves topped $50 billion.

The State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan had $35.9 billion of assets as of January 1.
