SOCAR to ensure employment of workers laid off from various plants

Rovnag Abdullayev, SOCAR President, has signed a decree to ensure employment of the workers laid off from various SOCAR’s plants.

According to the decree, the commission led by Eldar Orujev, chief of SOCAR’s Legal Department, has been created to implement the program. 

SOCAR Vice Presidents Halik Mammadov and Suleyman Gasymov have been instructed to supervise the program implementation.

Since early 2014 SOCAR has started reforming its subdivisions. Several thousands of employees have lost their jobs. SOCAR has made a decision on social protection of these employees.
