Nar Mobile Signs Success with Another Social Project

25 youngsters got trained for various professions in the framework of the Speaking and Hearing Impairments School
Today, Azerbaijan has over 8 thousand young people with speaking and hearing impairments. The main problem faced by these citizens is the employment. However, there is a very few number of companies that can offer jobs for persons with physical disabilities. One of such companies is Nar Mobile operator where 15 citizens with speaking and hearing impairments are working. Furthermore, the Company implements many projects to integrate those citizens into the society. The recently implemented the Speaking and Hearing Impairments School Project is indeed one of such projects. 25 youngsters aged 15 – 28 with hearing and speaking disabilities have participated in 4 three-month long qualification courses in floriculture, hairdressing, decorative arts and computer technologies.
It should be noted that this is not the first step made by Nar Mobile to integrate these physically impaired citizens into the society. The Company has been implementing the "Not Hearing Does Not Mean Not Thinking” Project for several years now. In the framework of this Project, the Company is not only recruiting the youth with hearing and speaking impairments, but also ensures the equal opportunities between them and other employees for the purpose of their social development. Currently, there are 15 citizens with speaking and hearing impairments working for the Company. Relying on its experience, Nar Mobile calls also upon other companies to offer jobs for physically impaired people.
