Foreign direct investment in Azerbaijan $5.8b in Jan.-Sep.

Foreign direct investment in Azerbaijan's economy reached $5.8 billion in the first nine months of 2014, the Central Bank said.
Of the total, 85.3 percent was invested in the oil and gas industry.
Foreign direct investment in Azerbaijan's non-oil sector amounted to $855 million during the period.
