Venezuela defeats Azerbaijan in WSB Season 5

Venezuela's Caciques defeated Azerbaijan's Baku Fires, runners-up of Season 4, in their second match at World Series of Boxing (WSB) Season 5, local press reported Sunday.
This is a surprising result, considering Venezuela came from a 5-0 defeat in their opening match.
The fights were held in Jose Maria Vargas Stadium in La Guaira, capital of Venezuela's northwest state of Vargas.
Venezuelan boxers Gabriel Mestre (69-kg), Eduard Bermudez (52) and Albert Ramirez (81) all defeated their Azerbaijani rivals, giving the South American country the victory.
After this victory, Venezuela's Caciques will travel to Miami, United States, to face United States' Knockouts on Jan. 31.
