Azerbaijan weather forecast for August 22: Baku to see up to 35°C, regional highs near 40°C

Dry and hot weather conditions will prevail across Azerbaijan on Saturday, August 22, Anews.az reported, citing the National Hydrometeorological Service.

In Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, mostly rainless weather is expected, with prevailing northwesterly winds shifting to southeasterly during daytime hours. Temperatures will range from 23°C to 27°C at night and reach 30°C to 35°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will hold at 763 mm Hg, with relative humidity hovering between 70–75% at night and 50–55% during daylight.

Regions across Azerbaijan will similarly see predominantly dry conditions, with patchy fog likely in some mountainous areas during night and morning hours alongside moderate easterly winds. Regional temperatures are projected at 21°C to 25°C at night and 35°C to 38°C during the day, climbing up to 40°C in selected lowland districts. Mountainous areas will record 12°C to 17°C overnight and 21°C to 26°C by day.
