Qatar's Nebras Power might implement project in Karabakh

Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov met with Chief Executive Officer of Qatar's Nebras Power Khalid Mohammed Jolo, reported from the Energy Ministry of Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, information was provided on the activities of Nebras Power, its projects implemented in various countries, and experience in the field of renewable energy.

Azerbaijan's reforms in the field of renewable energy, "green energy" auctions planned to be held soon, opportunities for cooperation in the field of wind energy, including offshore wind energy and hydropower, were discussed at the meeting.

The sides also discussed the possibility of the participation of Nebras Power, which makes long-term investments in the energy sector, in energy projects in Azerbaijan, including the liberated territories. The Qatari company expressed its interest in investing in Azerbaijan.
