Cargo handling in Baku Port rises by 18%

The Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC handled 4.707 million tons of cargos in January-October 2021, up 18.2% from the previous year, Press Secretary of the CJSC Elmar Habibli said.

At the same time, the volume of dry cargo handled in the Port increased by 68.5% 956,000 tons, the number of containers rose 6% to 35,040 TEU.

The Port is expected to increase the cargo handling to over 5 million tons this year.
