Turkish army delegation visits Naxcivan

The chairman of the Supreme Maclis of Azerbaijan’s autonomous region of Naxcivan, Vasif Talibov, has met a delegation of Turkish Armed Forces.

Talibov stressed the importance of the visit, saying it as a “sign of friendly and fraternal relations” between the two countries.

He said the visit would contribute to the development of military ties between Turkey and Naxcivan.

Talibov praised Turkey’s role in the military build-up in the Naxcivan region.

The head of the Turkish delegation, Seref Ongay, who’s the commander of the 9th Army Corps based in Erzurum, also praised military ties between the two countries.

Turkey`s consul general in Naxcivan also attended the meeting.
