Aliyev becomes honorary doctor of Tajik university

A ceremony was held at Tajik National University to give the title of honorary doctor of the university to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, state news agency Azartac reported.

The rector of the university, Mahmadyusuf Imomov, read out the Academic Council`s decision to give the title to Aliyev.

Aliyev was presented with a diploma and a mantle of the honorary doctor.

The head of state addressed professors, teachers and students of the university.
