Russia, Iran may establish oil and gas equipment plant

Iranian and Russian companies might establish a joint plant to produce equipment for the oil and gas sector and then export these products, Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

"We can use the potential and capabilities of Russian companies in production, development of oil fields, equipment manufacturing and technology transfer. In addition, the companies of the two countries can export it by establishing a joint plant in Iran and producing equipment in excess of the demand in Iran,” the ambassador said.
