Social expenses in Azerbaijan’s state budget up nearly 14%

In the first half of this year, 5,799.8 million manats ($3.41 billion), or 44.8% of the state budget expenditure in Azerbaijan, were pro-social expenses (labour payments, pension and social benefits, medicine and food purchases), 13.5% higher than a year earlier, reported from the Ministry of Finance.
