Eurasianet: Turkiye exploring possibility of importing Turkmen gas through Azerbaijan
06.07.2022 09:30
At a time when Europe is looking for an alternative source of Russian natural gas, Turkiye has announced that it is exploring the possibility of transporting Turkmenistan's gas to the country through the territory of Azerbaijan, reported from Eurasianet.

The article notes that for this purpose, Turkiye plans to use only the TANAP pipeline, through which Azerbaijani natural gas is transported.

Since the beginning of the energy crisis on the old continent, Azerbaijani officials have openly supported European calls to boost Azerbaijan's natural gas exports.
