Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov will be in Azerbaijan on July 21-22 to discuss increasing supplies of Azerbaijani gas, reported from Radio Bulgaria.

The prime minister said he would meet with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and hold talks on this issue.

"We are one of the three European Union countries that have access to this reliable gas source," he said.

Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov said earlier that gas supplies to Bulgaria would make 600 million cubic meters this year.
