Azerenergy OJSC, the largest electrical power producer in Azerbaijan, has provided electricity to Lachin city, Zabukh and Sus villages, which came under the control of the Azerbaijani Army on August 26.

According to Azerenerji, upon the order of President Ilham Aliyev, urgent measures were taken to supply the abovementioned areas with electricity as soon as possible. In Lachin city, non-stop work was carried out to restore the existing substation, which was completely destroyed by the Armenians. Transformers, necessary equipment, and machinery were brought to the area, and the work was done swiftly in just four days, and a system connected with the country's main grid was created.

Currently, to restore the distribution network, Azerishiq (electrical grid operator) staff have provided energy to military and civil facilities in the city of Lachin, Zabukh, and Sus villages and are carrying out other necessary measures.
