Aliyev receives UK ex-secretary of state for defence Fox

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received former UK Secretary of State for Defence Liam Fox.

Fox, also a member of British parliament, said that the importance of Azerbaijan, a country with favorable geographical and geopolitical location, is growing. He presented his book, "Rising Tides", to the head of state.

Noting the successful political and economic development of Azerbaijan, President Aliyev underlined with satisfaction the strengthening of Azerbaijan`s stance even further, state news agency Azartac said.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the development of relations between the countries, international and regional issues.
