Kazakhstan welcomes Azerbaijan's initiative to hold meeting with representatives of Karabakh’s Armenian population

"Kazakhstan reaffirms its full support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of brotherly Azerbaijan. We welcome the initiative of the Azerbaijani side to hold a meeting with representatives of the Armenian population of Karabakh,” Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan, Alim Bayel, said.

The diplomat pointed out that they hope for the situation to be solved through peaceful means and dialogue soon: "We hope that the situation will be resolved soon through peace dialogue within the internationally recognized borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan. We are sure that the establishment of a peaceful atmosphere and mutually beneficial cooperation in the South Caucasus and the opening of all communications meet the interests of all countries of the region.”
