President Donald Trump said he expects the new mineral extraction agreement with Ukraine to generate more than the $350 billion he claimed the previous administration had spent on supporting Kyiv.

"This is repayment for the $350 billion that Biden gave them," Trump said, referring to the deal.

When asked whether the U.S. presence in Ukraine could prevent further Russian advances in the region, Trump responded affirmatively.
