OSCE Parliamentary Assembly sets up Baku Group for Ukraine

A so-called Baku Group for Ukraine was established at the 23rd session of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe's Parliamentary Assembly held in Baku.

The president of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Ranko Krivokapic, also speaker of the Montenegrin parliament, said that Russian and Ukrainian delegations to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly met on Monday.

A decision was made to set up a Baku group to be comprised of representatives of various parliaments, including the parliaments of Russia and Ukraine, he said.

He also spoke about the role of parliamentary diplomacy in settling conflicts.
