Ilham Aliyev meets Turkic officials in Gabala

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Binali Yildirim and OTS Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev in Gabala on October 6.

During the meetings, gratitude was expressed for Azerbaijan’s support to the OTS, and the importance of the upcoming 12th Summit of the Heads of State of the Turkic States to be held in Gabala was emphasized.

Secretary General Omuraliev congratulated Ilham Aliyev on the progress achieved in Washington under the mediation of U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the peace agenda between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

President Aliyev expressed confidence that the summit will further strengthen solidarity and partnership across the Turkic world.
