Azerbaijani, Kazakh foreign ministers discuss strengthening strategic partnership

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with his Kazakh counterpart Yerzhan Kosherbayev on the sidelines of the Council of Foreign Ministers meeting of the Organization of Turkic States in Gabala.

Bayramov wrote on social platform X that the two sides discussed prospects for developing and further strengthening their strategic partnership.

“We reviewed cooperation in political, economic, transport and humanitarian areas, and exchanged views on the regional situation,” Bayramov said.

The Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said the ministers also emphasized the importance of joint efforts within international organizations, including the Organization of Turkic States and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA).
