President Aliyev meets Russian deputy PM Rogozin in Baku

AzerbaijaniPresident Ilham Aliyev has met a delegation led by Dmitriy Rogozin, deputy Russianprime minister, in Baku on June 19, state news agency Azartac reported.

 

Aliyev saidthat cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia are expanding in the political,economic, humanitarian and other fields.

 

“Constructivecooperation” between the two countries in the military and technical area has expandedeven further, Aliyev said.

 

Thepresident praised Rogozin`s role in the strengthening of relations between Azerbaijanand Russia as a co-chair of a joint commission.

 

Rogozinsaid he highly appreciated President Aliyev`s views on the expansion ofcooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia in the economic, trade and otherfields.

 

Rogozin addedthat Russian values its relations with the Azerbaijani people and state, andexpressed the hope that the ties will expand further.
