SOCAR president comments on closure of schools

RovnaqAbdullayev, president of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR),has commented on the closure of schools and kindergartens at the InternationalEducation Complex.

Abdullayevsaid the government has a wide range of facilities and the Ministry ofEducation has so far done a lot of work in this area.

 “We think it would be better if SOCAR didn’t engagein this area. Oilmen must do what they have to do, i.e. oil extraction,” hesaid.
