Azeri woman injured by Armenian fire

A 46-year-old woman in Azerbaijan’s western Tovuz District was injured by Armenian fire yesterday.

Inayat Aliyeva, a mother of three children, sustained shrapnel injuries when Armenians fired on her house in the village of Alibayli at around 1800 local time, APA reported, citing the head of the village administration.

She was hospitalized with injuries of medium severity, doctors at the Tovuz central hospital said.

The village came under Armenian fire between 1800 and 2300. There was no loss of life.
