Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General summons journalist Sevinc Osmanqizi, activists Gafarov and Manafov

Azerbaijan’s Prosecutor General’s Office has summoned exiled journalist Sevinc Osmanqizi, along with public activists Abid Gafarov and Beynulla Manafov, according to Public Television (İTV).

The Investigative Department of the Prosecutor General’s Office issued an official notice to Osmanqizi (Sevinc Mirzayeva) under Article 467-13.4 of Azerbaijan’s Criminal Procedure Code.

Abid Gafarov has been summoned under Articles 220.2 and 281.2 of the Criminal Code — related to participation in mass unrest and public calls against the state. A similar notice was also sent to Beynulla Manafov, who currently resides abroad.
