Azerbaijan reports slight rise in agricultural output in January 2026

Azerbaijan’s agricultural output grew 0.1% year-on-year in January 2026, the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan reported.

Meat production reached 47,500 tons, up 0.4% from January 2025. Milk output fell 0.5% to 158,900 tons, while egg production declined 5.7% to 182.8 million units.

Vegetable production rose 5.6% to 27,000 tons. Overall, crop output increased 5.6%, showing positive growth, but livestock products fell 0.3% compared with the same period last year.
