Armenians continue breaking ceasefire with Azerbaijan

The situation on the line of contact between Azerbaijani and Armenian troops has remained tense as Armenian armed forces continued to violate the ceasefire with Azerbaijan, the Defence Ministry said.

Armenians fired on Azerbaijani positions in the village of Qizilhacili in Qazax Distrct from their positions in the village of Berkaber in Ijevan region.

The ceasefire was also violated in Gorgan, Horadiz, Garakhanbayli, Ashagi Seyidahmadli and Ashagi Abdurahmanli villages of Fuzuli region; in Yusifjanli, Sarijali and Merzili villages of Aghdam region; Seysulan and Goyarkh villages of Terter region; Kuropatkino village of Khojavend region and nameless hills in Jabrayil region on May 29 and on the night of May 30.

The enemy was silenced by retaliatory fire, the Defence Ministry said.
